-Devki started her yoga journey in 1984. She Learned directly from BKS Iyengar, Prashant, and Geeta Iyengar. She began teaching at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India, in 1995 and is one of the senior teachers at the mother institute in Pune-India.
Devki brings with her teachings the essence, the spirit, the energy and the philosophy of Iyengar yoga.
Devki has travelled worldwide in Europe, Asia and America and Canada, promoting the work of Guruji Iyengar. And in 2007, Devki alongside Dr Rajlaxmi, co-hosted the National Iyengar yoga convention at Brunel University.
Villy Doctor, known as Villy Ma is the founder of the Satyavati Spiritual Foundation which was established in 2009 with the vision to spread the ‘Satya Meditation’ technique and knowledge, and Light of Life Trust, an NGO whose primary objective has been nurturing disadvantaged children and destitute women.
