We at yogainforesthill, are once again honoured by the visit (via zoom) of Devki Desai; one of the senior teachers at the mother institute in Pune-India.
Devki started her yoga journey in 1984. She Learned directly from BKS Iyengar, Prashant, and Geeta Iyengar. She began teaching at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India, in 1995. She teaches children, general and advanced classes as well as therapeutic and pranayama classes.
Devki has travelled worldwide in Europe, Asia and America and Canada, promoting the work of Guruji Iyengar and in 2007, Devki alongside Dr Rajlaxmi co-hosted the National Iyengar yoga convention at Brunel University.
This is another opportunity to learn Guruji’s teachings through one of his direct students. Don’t miss it!
